Birth of Smartphone

Hey Guys do you know when the Smartphone was born and with what OS?
Well if u dont know then I will say u that.
Smartphone started back long ago with UIQ series phones from Nokia.

Symbian OS is the first to installed in a smartphone. Sony first manufactured Symbian Phone. Then it was taken over by Nokia.
Now symbian is the father of smartphone OS.

What do u say guys?
