270 rep isn't jack shit, rep in general isn't jack shit.I have done tons of deals, people usually go first to me, but if someone asks for a MM I would gladly use one for me and my buyer to be safe.
Declining a MM is sketchy as fuck, no matter how much vouches/rep you have.

I have nothing against OP or @"Black Dave" both of you would go first to me or request an MM and I would use it. I have no pointless ego especially when it's only benefiting BOTH PARTIES in a deal to keep it safe. Denieing an MM is sketchy and makes you look even dumber when you attempt to claim "trusted" over rep you could rep4rep for In a week as basically everyone does that's new and getting 4 vouches is as easy as asking your friends in a skype chat. In my opinion Black Dave is legit from what I have seen and I don't doubt that he wouldn't have scammed but if someone requests an Mm then fucking use it.

I personally trust @"black dave" but I don't think anyone has ANY reason to deny having a MM in their deal so long as the MM is actually a trusted member (preferably staff.) 4 vouches and 270 rep are nowhere near the standards for someone to be "trusted" by all, but certainly his friends and those that have dealt successfully in the past would deem him trusted. I don't think he was trying to scam you, but denying an MM is certainly sketchy.

There is no reason to decline a middleman, ever. It's incredibly sketchy. I don't like using middlemen because it's often a struggle getting together at the same time but I will never decline it if a customer wishes to use one regardless of the price.

Regardless if he turned down the use for an MM, if you were dealing onsite, there shouldn't be a problem.

Some people don't like going through the trouble on finding and using one, most of the time its just a pre-caution.

But that's my input, remember to stay on site.

Black Dave is cool but a Middle Man isn't a waste of time. I still use MM's to this day and I'm much more trusted than him. Always use a staff MM as a first priority
