I think Black Ops 2 will succeed. I watched some videos about it and read some articles. It seems like Treyarch's working pretty hard to make this game different than most CODs.

yeah, treyarchs really stroking on this one. they are adding a bunch of new things to COD. looking forward to the new spectator mode. it seems pretty legit. blops 2 WILL SUCCEED

in all honesty, if the creators tool modern warfare 3, made all guns shoot bubbles, and made the maps cartoon style the game would still suceed.
if they took modern warfare 3 next year and only changed the title to modern warfare 4 guess what...

Halo 4 is going to do better in my opinion. Black Ops 2 looks really bad, with all the futuristic stuff in it, it just seems really far-fetched.

I'm only buying it for zombies.

i had halo 4 preordered.
i seen some newer trailers with all the fucking non sense theyve added sience the release trailer.
i went and got a refund for my preorder.
the shit in blops2 actually blends in with the story line.
the shit in halo 4 follows the story but they added too much of a stretch to it.
blops2 will do better with out a doubt (this is coming out of the mouth of a fucking halo freak btw)

Call of Duty will always do better. But the games are never going to be better than that of Halo. Halo has a good story line, CoD is always just some bullshit 'good guy, bad guy' storyline where the fate of humanity is threatened or some extremely generic shit like that.

CoD will be better in sales. Halo 4 will be a better game campaign wise.

Sometimes change is a good thing.

They are doing the exact same thing with Black Ops 2 from Black Ops. There are like fucking electric tomahawks and fucking heat wave launchers. That's a little far in my opinion.

Halo 4 is trying to make the game more fast paced, and I think the campaign looks amazing.

Call of duty will succeed for sure. The kids that just got an xbox are in a lust relationship with call of duty and will buy this game, and older fans buy the game every year too. Unless halo 4 is a really good game cod will stay on top.

I'm sure you know this, but 343 is extremely good at making a balanced game. Based on the gameplay I have seen, Forerunner vision is not as powerful as you would assume. For example, holograms will show up as enemies on forerunner vision, and the actual enemies only show up where they were at the time of activation of the vision.

It is also a part of the campaign, and I believe that it should be a vital part to campaign and online without ruining the experience.

The fact that 343 is great at creating a fair balanced game, is why I think Halo 4 will succeed more in the long-run.

Without the fanboys, it wouldn't do as well. I personally loved black ops, but this looks like it's going a little far.
