What happened with the evolution of music?
we came form idiots banging turtle shells, smacking sticks together, strumming hair strung on crooked carved planks of wood. To a little bit modernized version of that eg: Lute, Drums, percussion bars. To a bit more modernized version of the Guitar, newer drums, percussion light percussion instruments built with drum sets and now we have these computer programs that make all kinds of weird sounds and the music people make using computers is altogether in one word, Astonishing the reason it impresses me is that people have found a new way to make music in such a sorter amount of time than the past few evolution eras But may it be astonishing I still don't think it is a good path to go forward on. Techno is one of the most vastly "liked" music genres in the world right now. I don't like that for a couple of reasons, I believe techno ie, dubstep drumstep allthatshitinonestep, should have only been a gateway to a an actual nice sounding Music, instead of a bunch of meme type of compilation and high pitch screeching or loud bass drops. I think we need to have a look backat what we are leaving behind, Rock and roll, Jazz, Blues, Metal, Heavy Metal, Classical, and of course alternative rock, do you really want to give up all those great genres and move into an era of sound compilation loud bangs and high pitch screams? well I don't so from now on I'm going to be posting some of my favorite songs to battle with Mike's Posting of all the dubstep hoo-hah
