I don't think their suing for the bot nuke itself but how they got peoples emails

For what I read, I think they are suing the bot nuke because it is damaging the bots' customers and them as a company.

Haha that is so stupid. Jagex can easily say that the bots are damaging the game.

That'd be like the black market suing the government because they damaged their business. It's the false-DMCA claims most likely, Impsoft were the ones to get angry about that.

Macroing is against the rules of runescape, they have no basis to sue on, as you have to agree to the TOS.

Their suing for Jagex breaking a subpoena they had so they couldn't get their customers e-mail addresses.

That's why they sent you an email/inbox and stated if you do not stop, therefore they just warned you about court dates etc.

You ctrl+f'd macroing, at which point you're a tart. They're suing on the basis of using and operating manipulated game code (aka reverse engineered client that RSBuddy/nexus/etc uses) and going against the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

In other news, If you have read Impsofts reply to Jagex a few days before this thread you'd know that PayPal was forced to give Jagex all the emails of everyone who bought bots or used bots from Impsoft (Thanks to lawyers and freedom of information, they were allowed to) BUT Impsoft placed a gag order on Jagex stating they were not allowed to use the information or share the information they received. Jagex loopholed the gag order and filed a suite using the information.

Thats what impsoft is suing for. Case closed.
