BTC value dropping soon?

I think it may raise the value to be honest.

I'm guessing the value will go up, since more will be taken away.

I think it would drop, it'll be an auction for them, meaning people will just be low balling to get them for a low price, 50,000 bitcoins being sold for less than what they're worth? Drop incoming.

Thank you.

When something is being sold lower than the actual value, the real worth of that product will drop. Period. This happened before and I'm pretty sure it dropped, nothing would change.

Value will most likely drop a bit with the influx of bitcoins, at which point I will buy and suggest others to buy. The value will be back up in a little while though.

This guy gets it. Expect a drop people, but yeah, your call.

It's always been dropping in price in the past whenever seized coins has been sold. It's more of an opportunity to use said news as leverage to manipulate the price than the market being flooded. If you look at the total volume of Bitcoins that gets traded on a daily basis, you'll see that even if the entity who ends up purchasing the overpriced seized coins were to sell all his/her coins, it'd still all be sold within 2 days if sold at market price.

Not once has seized Bitcoins been auctioned at a lower price, the reason they're actually overpaying is because there's no market that can sustain such a trivial amount of Bitcoins being purchased without the price going straight to the moon. Hence, the entity winning the auction is actually saving money, considering the sheer volume of Bitcoins that's being auctioned.

The value will drop I'd say anywhere from 80-120 bucks a coin maybe more. It will take a minute to recover. And don't belive the idiots who consider BTC a investment. I mean it is but more then likely I won't be in your favor . So if you buy a shit ton don't expect a big return.
