Eh, this is my first time doing this, and I believe I did the majority of it right. I included, a mouse, keyboard and a monitor in the price of everything and the grand total prices I have listed are what it comes to right before the checkout including shipping and HST taxes (Canadian taxes), I am Canadian so if you have a better suggestion for parts to bring the price down to less than $1500 please post the pieces I can order from Canadian sites. Thanks!
This build is for gaming purposes btw. Also please don't suggest more RAM or more hard drive space as I most likely won't need it.

Here's the build:

Found something already..
You can buy a graphics card for half the price that will run practically anything on the highest details.

Lemme look into the rest ^^

Just edited the thread to read it better, and are you talking about the 7950? Cause I was wondering if I should use that and would be able to play BF3 ultra..

The rest doesn't seem too bad but..
Take a look at this: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227402

Add a monitor and some speakers and you're set, all for well under $1500.
And of course, if you really want it, add in a SSD as well, but in my opinion it's unnecessary.

Nope, was just talking about cards in general. You should easily be able to play it with that, but there's still cheaper cards out there that can do it for cheaper.

If you really want to spend $400 on a card, I'd grab this: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125423

This might help you out a bit. Really depends on how many frames a second you want.

Ahh I looked into the computer and checked out the graphics card, people reviewing it said it most likely wouldn't run ultra on BF3, the reason I'm looking to buy at 7970 is so I won't need to upgrade my card in the future and will be able to play basically every game ultra with ease so I guess I'ma stick to the 7970 on Newegg unless you can show me a cheaper website, I compared already with Amazon, canadacomputers and tigerdirect. But other than that, everything I have listed is compatible with each other?

Yep, it's all compatible.

You could buy the setup, sell off the 7750, and buy a $400 card to replace it.
You'd still save several hundred.

I know absolutely nothing about computer building I just did research on all those parts last night for a few hours. What Nvidia card would have the same or better power as the one I listed for a cheaper price?

I suggested one.

Ahh, I didn't notice that edit you put in Storm, and thanks, I looked into it and will probably be getting that one then. Thanks again. Anything else that you might have noticed would be better?

I also added in the operating system I am going to be getting, if someone can show me a good torrent for windows 7 then I will be really thankful.

Thank you! I'll just need to buy a dvd to burn it too. So everything else in my build is all good? Or do you have an opinion on the mouse and keyboard, i'm not looking for a high end expensive gaming mouse and keyboard. I know nothing about mice and how the differences affect gaming.

Download the standard free version. Boot it up, hit the little green plus and add the Windows OS .iso and run it. Saves you having to burn it.

As for mice and keyboards, it's really just up to personal preference.
The one you picked out I actually had quite a while back and they worked well for some time. Still do I'd assume but god know's where they are now

Depends on which one you have.
Jump onto their site and look them up. It'll say in the summary

Are you serious? You do know that AMD dominates Nividia in 6 screen display and in Crossfire. 7970 actually up to neck with Nvidia flagship card GTX680.

Your build needs few tweaks, your using older generation CPU and motherboard. Get Ivy Bridge and Z77 board. There's also no need for 16GB RAM if your only gaming.

You could go much lower if you get a Crucial m4 128GB SSD.

Personally go with GTX670, GTX670 can be overclocked and be match with a GTX680 which saves you $100.

Could I do this;

CPU: i5 3570k - $229
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.asp...6819116504

Motherboard: ASROCk Z77 Extreme4 - $180

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.asp...6811129180

Storage: Crucial m4 128GB
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148442

RAM: Corsair 8GB DDR3 Low profile 1600Mhz - $58
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.asp...6820233186

Power supply: Corsair 750w-HX - $156
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.asp...6817139010

CPU Cooler: Cooolermaster V6 GT - $70

GPU: GTX670 - $419
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.asp...6814162109

I really don't need a lot of harddrive space, and I don't need a fancy case, just one that works.

That case has crap cooling. Get case I suggest it's best performance/price ratio. I still suggest you get a 500GB HDD. You should never use a SSD as your main storage devices. Only store your OS and 1 or 2 games.

Oh okk, so I should get a good ventilated case, and fine I guess I will get more HDD... I've never done anything with overclocking so I had no idea how that even works really, haha. But would that GPU be able to run ultra on BF3 without overclocking?

Also what is the difference besides the price on these 2 HDD's?

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136767

And is the optical drive I have good?

And check the mainpage for the new build I have, it is only lacking an HDD, I'm looking to get a 500gb hdd. Also do I need a sound card?
