Is it possible to successfully call in a tag with JUST the billing info and get it back? I was sure that you needed to have the tag recovered to your console and that you need to provide MS with your console ID/s#, but someone is telling me that you can call in a tag with JUST the billing info and get it back.

Please don't post if you have no idea what you're talking about.

No it isn't possible unless the billing on both the email account/Xbox account match. Even then you would require a strike of blind luck.

Well then if someone changed the billing info on the account it would be secure, right? I'm trying to trade my tag for a stat IG and the guy thinks I'm going to take it back even though it has never been on my console. I've never heard of someone pulling a tag back without the s# and cid.

Just tell him don't be a dipshit. Change the billing, add a payment option, update all alts, remove trusted devices, change alias, etc...

Hmm I think if you tell the what Dashboard update your using it helps out. I think they can determine from that. So if they guess it right then I guess they would only need address etc.

No you cannot call in a tag with just billing info, as I've just called in mine. You could no the person personally. You need your console ID for extra proof. Trust me I've been on this shit for a week.

Like @rude said there may be a teeny bit of luck but why would you be doing this in the first place? If you are calling it back due to a scammer taking it then why didn't the scammer change it, and also how do you even know your billing info is the same? Or are you talking about previous billing info?

I was going to deal with @Kasey until @Rude told him that I could call in the tag with just the billing info. I told Kasey that he was wrong but he didn't listen. Thanks for clearing that up.

Listen man the odds of this happening is like 5% and usually it had to be the OG billing and it couldn't be changed. Don't worry about it man.
