I've a gateway profile 5.5 It's super fast, but it's integrated graphics.

I used GPU-Z to see if I can install a GeForce 6200 512MB PCI Graphics card, the bus interface is PCI.

So does this mean there is a slot for the card?

You seem to be the expert on all threads regarding computers then you ask a simple question regarding a PCI slot. Yes, your computer has a PCI slot if it says it has a PCI slot.

A new GPU won't do shit for you. A processor and GPU work together. If one is horrible( The processor) it will drag the other down(the GPU).

BTW, GHz means almost nothing. A bulldozer running @ 8 GHz is outperformed by an i7 tunning @ 4.5 GHz.

So you're saying my PC would be the same speed with 2 gigs and a 1.00 GHz processor as a 3.00 GHz processor?

Obviously not but your processor is shit. The new Qualcom 1.7 GHz quad-core MOBILE PHONE processor would outperform your current one.
