Can we forgive the persons who hurt us?

Naturally, we used to hate the people those who hurt us. We only think negatively towards them. We do not think that we can earn blessings through forgiving them. I am also have this kind of feeling and I could not think positively towards them. What is the remedy?
 
Sometimes you just have to realize that humans make mistakes. You have to ask yourself if what he or she did is worth losing the friendship over. If its something really bad then it should be over if not then make sure they apologize.
 
It depends on what he did to you?admit it, it's hard to forgive someone instantly,especially if that person hurts you badly,i think that it takes time to heal the pain,it takes time to forgive him. Anyways i can forgive him easily,but the thing is,it will take time to bring back the trust to that person.
 

Hating someone when they hurts you is normal. You got hurt, you hate. It's bad is you can't able to forgive someone even if they hurt you a lot. Remedy? I think for me try to think of positive thoughts and good things that this person who hurts you made to you. Anyway, I think there's still positive things that person have.
 
people do not hurt us intentionally so we ought to forgive them but while talking about myself, i will never forgive them who hurts me....
 
yes of course we can forgive him or her .i am the man who always for give to the person who apologize. i like these person very much.
 
Pfff i never stay angry on someone for a long time. I mean if they hurt me badly i can`t stay upset. Maximum 1 day lol. So i guess i forgive people quite often and quite quickly
 
If God can forgive us from our sins then we can. A person who's hurt has to undergo stages before he can move on and finally, forgive the person. Sometimes we feel the rage and that forgiving that person is impossible but as time passes by, you will just find out to yourself that you do not feel hatred or anything against that person. It takes time to heal the wound before you can forgive someone.
 
For me, I know I am certainly capable of forgiving those who have caused me pains. It may not come as easily or swiftly as anyone would think but, there is always a healing process. Time heals. It's natural. And whether we accept it or not, we are unconsciously forgetting the instance that have hurt us. God gave us reasoning, so that we may asses things properly and besides, it feels good when you are at peace with everybody
 
Yup. I agree, we can't do anything but to forgive them. otherwise, we cannot live peaceably. Remember God forgave our sins too so we should also forgive those who sins against us.
 
I am also having same feeling ...At the point of time we can't forgive them but when time passes the intensity of anger will decrease and forgive everything...
 
If the person asks for forgiveness and regrets anything he/she has done to you definitely I will forgive him/her. Unless he/she did something that destroys my whole aspect as a person. Well I'll see him/her on hell.
