Can we have a single theme for posts?

I know this thread is going to likely get brushed away due to it's lack of importance for most.

But please, as someone who makes graphics for people, it's the biggest hassle to have to constantly check if the piece of art is viable for both a light background (default forum theme) and the dark.

The middle ground is a pretty tough place to meet, as both backgrounds are so harshly contrasted.

An example of this is on @BasedGod 's signature. It looks horrible on the white background because it's been made for the dark theme.

I'm suggesting that we just have a dedicated theme, at least for posts or where graphics are displayed. It would not only make the graphics look better, but make things easier for us, as we don't have to constantly check if it looks good on the respective background colours (which is a huge pain in the ass).

I know it's not exactly priority. But how hard is it to change the default theme to the dark theme/delete the excess?

Here's an example of what i'm talking about btw.



The light one looks like shit because I didn't cater for it.
It works both ways.

I agree as a designer, I know @yeti would also agree.

I made my signature for the light theme, but when it's on dark it looks horrible...

Sorry, I'm like really tired really now, can someone fill me in.
To what I think on this thread (not sure, been up for 20 hours) is that I agree with this. But if you're talking about actually using either the dark or light theme then I somewhat disagree. Just use colors that look good on both dark and light themes? If this sounded retarded, it's 'cause I'm a bit retarded now.

I definitely wouldn't mind seeing this implemented, but I don't see it being of high priority over other suggestions and other things needing work done, so, I vote yes, but as long as it doesn't interfere with other work needing done.

I wouldn't care much for this to be changed. I think it looks nice as it is. Transparent signatures usually look fine.

You're saying that it's good to only have monotoned graphics on this forum?

I understand you're tired but if you've even touched blending options in photoshop I don't know why you wouldn't agree with me lol.
It would give the us the chance to make non transparent graphics feel transparent, and also allow for GIFs and much much more.

Now I see. Yeah, I can agree and disagree with this still all in the same time. The con I'm thinking about right now is what about all the people that are using the opposite theme then the one we have chosen? Though, I'd like to see this because it would be a formal and following suit with us doing it as a group.

What I was suggesting in the OP was that we just have one theme. No optional theme, just a set default one, whether it be light or dark I don't care, but as long as it's just one.

EDIT: if this was to be followed upon, I'd assume there'd be a poll for the chosen theme.
