Recently I have been arguing with some kids at school, back and forth every single day, because these students think that when a cure for cancer is found, they will exercise the shit out of it.
My argument is that when/if they find a cure for cancer, the large companies will not want to release it purely because cancer is one of the largest money making industries in the world, which is a pretty sad reality.
Hate cancer, lost my father due to it. Doctors promised a 10 year old (my age at the time) that he'll be fine 100%, turns out all the medication they gave him and everything they did made him die quicker. I don't reckon there will ever be a confirmed cure, but it would be beautiful to know if they shared with everyone.

Sorry for the loss, I can guarantee everyone has been affected by cancer in some way in this world... My family has had some struggles with cancer, as well as my close friends' family. I just feel like it's a harsh reality that if someone is making that enormous sum of money off of something that hasn't been cured yet, they'll be hesitant, to say the least, when a cure surfaces.

The evidence is plain in front of you more or less... Look at how much cancer relief costs each family year by year, the sum of money spent is enormous, and you need to realize the money doesn't just vanish into space, it goes into somebodies pocket. And quite frankly that pocket is a company, who could possibly find the cure to cancer. Did you know that a new test for early detection of pancreatic cancer had been created by a 15 year old boy, and that test cost a slim $.15 EACH test? Something is wrong there, if a 15 year old boy can get the cost to 15 cents, yet the companies remain having their hefty prices.
