Internet Service Providers (ISPs) are about to impose usage-based billing on YOU.

This means we're looking at a future where ISPs will charge per byte, the way they do with smart phones.

As a matter of fact, i'm pissed the hell off. All of these government instabilities going on around the world, I'm surprised there's not a nuclear war going on right now. Everybody's always trying to control something; but seriously, THE INTERNET? Like what the fu** ...

Anyways, we'll just have to see what happens.

I feel you bud.

Just today, I was TV'ing a friend that lives in SC and helping him download pirated filsm. I asked him, 'So what's your bandwidth allowance?' and he looked at me perplexed at if he'd never heard of such an 'allowance'. It's ridiculous. Internet in the states costs cheaper, isn't limited and is generally faster.

Onwards, I was downloading all kinds of movies for him just amazed at how easy it is to download something and if its a bad quality torrent, he can just deleted and re-download a new one. Whereas I have a monthly usage allowance and I need to carefully pick my data.

I'm really going to be mad if this goes through.
