Can't log into IG 'Refresh Feed'

okay so i just sold an instagram account. after changing the password it auto logged me out and wouldn't let me log back in (bare in mind i've owned this account for years) it says 'couldn't refresh feed' and logs me back out over and over. the same is happening to the person I sold it to, he can't log in either. despite it being on my e-mail still, there seems to be no way to access the account right now by the app or browser. 
it's very frustrating. is anyone currently experiencing the same issue? at this point I believe it must be a glitch on instagram's end but who knows.

I'm having troubles putting my account onto and off private. They must be having issues or fixing stuff (Hopefully)
Hope they fix the damn requests already.

I've been having trouble with refreshing my feed (That's probably just my 9 Download speed though).
It's probably something on Instagrams end, I think I saw another user with a similar issue a moment ago.
