Has anybody else seen this movie? In my opinion it was a great movie, the ending left me shocked. I've read the books and they did leave out so good parts which were in the book but hey what you do. When the credits played and that song by coldplay (Atlas) came on I felt in the best mood like I couldn't wait till the next one! I plan on seeing the movie again this Friday who wants to come on me!

I cannot wait to see it! I'm a big fan of the books, but how many of you guys are aware that the author completely stole the idea from a Japanese movie that came out in the 90s? I shouldn't really say "stole" but there is QUITE a similarity...

To OP, I noticed you said they didn't include a few good parts, but other than that how closely did they stick to the book?

Another reason I'm excited to see it is because I saw the first before reading any of the books. Now that I've read all the books I'm interested to see if the movie has the same effect as the first one.

"claims" I guess will never know, I'm in no way bashing her as an author by the way. I am indeed a fan of the books, just curious. To be fair, good ideas that are 100% original are hard to come by these days.
