Ok so, Have any of you ever been catfished?
(Known someone who pretended to be someone they are not via internet/LD)

I don't do that fufu lame e-shit so this isn't like that. However, this kid I've been gaming with for years now (just a friend lvl, was bestfriend at one point), just had his pic posted on twitter from PAX by some randy who fangirls him.

I'm not even mad, I find this shit hilarious. He would share pics of this semi attractive white guy claiming them to be him. (very vain about himself might I add) and in reality hes like this tiny little asian guy, who is semi attractive. If I was going to use photos of someone, I'd get the hottest bitch off the internet, df. Why steal someones average ass photos when you're basically the same just a different ethnicity?

I kinda feel bad for the lad, but I'm dying. I'm not gonna confront him or anything, because he's been in our gaming friend circle for 9 years xD No one ever got to meet him though.

I can see how the whole talking to someone every day thing may go, but when it comes to sex? and being physical? Nahh chill. I need to actually be able to touch someone.. Even simply hugging someone, I don't want to send emojis and shit -.-

Jokes aside, I don't see why someone would even use fake photos and claim it to be them. Some people just aren't confident, which is totally understandable, but don't pretend to be someone you're not. If someone doesn't like you for who you are or how you look, then they're not your friend.

This is a long story, I got catfished by a girl for 5 months, we were going to meet and when we did, she looked soooooooo different. I was so sad and I couldnt believe it I almost cried lmao. We facetimed and stuff I don't know how I couldnt tell the difference, then she lied about her age. She said she was 14 but she was really 13. Catfishing is probably the gayest thing ever.
