My brand new computer arrived this afternoon, I have installed it all well so far, no problems. However, no sounds is produced. e.g. When I watch a YouTube video I can't hear it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Here are some pictures and information. (Skype and TeamViewer help would also rock!)

Running: Windows 7 Home Premium

You can't use sound using a monitor unless it's HDMI.

So, time to get speakers/headsets.

Why would you want to use speakers anyways?

Turtle beaches work just as good and people can't hear you doing the nasty >.>

Just my 2 cents.

I've never used logic so I can't comment or compare.

You probably either didn't install your drivers, or your on-board sound card is broken.

If you did install them, re-install and let us know what happens.

If all else fails call your computer manufacturer, you may speak to an Indian woman who only says "okay", but but it's worth a try at least.

I'm using a DVI/VGA cable. Where do I get an audio cable?

WOO! My Dad just solved the problem. Thanks guys.
It turned out the sound was coming out of the computer rather than the monitor!
Close please ;)
