Change Poll Options Once Posted

I am proposing the ability to edit polls once posted. I thought of this when I was trying to find names for my group, made a poll, someone suggested a name not in the poll, but I had to junk the thread and make a new one to add the option. I understand that if users abused this (like having a poll open, then switching the names of the options) that it could potentially cause an issue, but if you made it so that you could not edit the names of the options, just delete or add an option, it it would be a good idea.
