Change your Mac Dock Icons!

Hi, FK!

Today I will be helping Mac users change the icons on their docks. You may be a little unhappy and frustrated with your current ones. Here is what my dock currently looks like:

If you would like to change the icon, navigate to this website! Once you're there, search up something you want to change. For example, if you want to change your Skype icon then search up Skype.

Click the big green button located to the right, and a bunch of icons will pop up! You can choose absolutely any one that tickles your fancy. For the sake of this thread, I will choose a different one to my current icon. I'll be using this icon!

What you want to do now is right click the image, and click 'Copy image'.

Once the image is copied, go back to your desktop and right click the application you want to change, obviously in this case it is Skype!

You will now be redirected to the 'Applications' folder of your Mac. Now, what you are to do is right click it and click 'get info'.

You will now be shown all of the information on the application, but fortunately none of this matters. What you need to do now is click the top left image.

Once you click it, simply type "COMMAND + V". This will paste the image you copied earlier! Now, as you can see, my Skype icon changed.

Now, for the last part. All you need to do is restart Skype, or the program you decided to change, then open it back up! I have done so and now this is what my dock looks like!

I hope you enjoyed and learned something from this guide, please leave a comment of criticism for future guides that I put out! Message or post here if any assistance is required!

A much easier method to do this, is to download CandyBar.
But a nice tutorial regardless.

Not a problem, mate! If you need to change Finder, it's slightly different so just message me and I will tell you how.

Haha your icons remind me of that IOS7 inspired linux distro (don't remember the name).
