I've seen your site on a couple other showcasing sections of other sites, doesn't seem like your member count budges.

The skin doesn't even look like an IPB skin, I'm really not too interested in joining either.

Well I don't have any skin suggestions for 3.4, the last site I ran was on 3.3 and not too many of the skins have been converted yet. But just try and mess with the skin more, customizations = more unique visitors.
 
There is an option were you can change the theme options.
  • You can change the Category Border color from Blue, to green and red
  • You can change the Family Fonts with nearly all Fonts!
  • You can change the Border Width, from 1% to 100%
