I'm curious,

Have any of you ever cheated on your significant other? What was your thought process? Similarly, have you ever been cheated on? How did it make you feel? Angry, sad, didn't matter because you weren't that invested?

I have never cheated nor been cheated on (as far as I know), but I use to hear that my best friend was flirting with my ex, and she was flirting back(well thats what he said anyway) and it made me angry asf, I just ignored her for a week because I was mad.

If you consider cheating, just rip your balls out already or if female rip your mouth off, because you've just become less of a man/women then you were before. Don't like the girl/boy? be a man/women and end it, then go off and do as you wish, don't be fucked enough to do it to someone, when they've got there heart set on you, imo it makes the guy/girl trash if they do. feelings are the most painful thing in this world, hurts more then getting stabbed/shot or anything else, because that wound doesn't always heal.

I would agree.
Let me throw some twists in this: What if it's a long distance relationship, and you can't break up with her because you won't see her for awhile?

This might just be me, but I prefer feelings being hurt over stab wounds, then again as my psychiatrists says, I tend to sometimes be oblivious to non-tangible things such as feelings

I also agree with everything @Monster said, and in regards to this, you're just gonna have to end it via text or, preferably, phone call.

I can imagine long distance is alot harder, but cheating is cheating man, if your not happy in relationship then end it, ya feel?

Break up over the phone, video chat idk be creative, breaking up is far better then that wound in your heart, that's a scare I can promise you will never heal.  I've felt this pain before, and I've done it myself as well, I know the ins and outs, of both long distance and short distance relationships, ending it is the best option, unless you'd rather be that dick/bitch who turns a nice girl/guy into a broken one.

@Monster I feel you man, no need to ruin a life because you are to much of a coward to end the relationship. Although breaking up is worse then being cheated on in my opinion, If I was cheated on I would think they are not worth my time, but if they were to break up with me it would make me feel worse.

@Magic you've said it yourself, you've never been cheated on and you've never committed the act itself, therefore you can't say breaking up is harder then cheating.

I have only cheated on girl, and It was when I was at a party and was fucked up... I did not really care for that girl that I was going out with, so It did not hurt me In any way.
