This is why people are so against Christians in my opinion, because the one's that are publicized are the super radical, out of control, ones.

I for one am against gays, not wholey due to religion, but due to the fact that I was bullied so much growing up (changed so fast once football started though ). But I don't think it is correct as a Christian (or any religion) to do something like this at a Military Funeral. They put their lives out there to protect us, I feel everyone should respect that. Not use it as some way to get yourself on TV.

I feel people like this aren't true Christians, just people trying to get their point across by any means possible.

NOTE: Please don't come in here just bashing God and Christianity, this is not a debate about who "has the bigger balls"

Thing is, they are true Christians. The follow the bible literally. Maybe they aren't part of YOUR personal denomination but they are still Christian. And why the fuck are you against gays? They do nothing wrong -.- (because of being gay, there are some gay murderers etc.). Westboro has be like this forever. And I don't think anyone has a right to protests ANYONE'S funeral (I personally don't think that the American army is currently "putting their lives on the line for you", they're more just imperialistic).

Um, no they are not true Christians. Where in the Bible does it say "go to funerals of others and ruin them".

I don't care that they are against gays, they have their own right to that. But to go to someone's funeral to protest gays and say that because America accepts gays is the reason they died? That's wrong by morals. The Bible says treat others as you would like to be treated, I doubt any of them would like protestors at their funeral.

I'm against the word and meaning. I was bullied k-10th and "gay" was used a lot. So I hate the word and what it represents. Do I care if you're gay? No, but don't plan on getting any sympathy or support from me.

And to say the armed forces aren't "putting their live on the line for you" is so sad. You must not have any morals or family in the armed forces. Because they bust their asses to protect the rights of all your ideas. So you have the freedom to be against God, to support gays, to be an atheist (or whatever you claim to be). Maybe not this day or this moment, but since the creation of our nation (or my nation I'm not sure where you're from) they are the reason the US exists.

Don't blame the army, blame the government. The people who are running this country into the ground. Who cause these economic disasters.

Where does it say "You musn't protest funerals" -.-

I really don't care if they do. I'm going to the funeral of the first one of them that drops dead and protesting the fuck out of it.

Not have any morals? Do you even know what a moral is? It is an electrical impulses that essentially tells our brain what we think is and isn't right. That's it. There is no objective moral code, it's all subjective. And THEY AREN'T putting their lives on the line for us! They're in Afghanistan, fucking shit up. They fucked shit up in Iraq. Are either of those countries any threat to the States? No! The reason the USA exists is because of the British colonizing a country that already had people in it by killing those people off, they were immoral fucks (the first Americans) that owned slaves and killed natives. I'm from Canada by the way .

I don't give a fuck about the economy, I care about human lives, and that is what is being lost with the current Afghani war and your country's determination to imperialize!

If they were gay, they probably would want people to protest at their funerals. (Assuming they still held the exact same ideals.)

Krazed, quit being so fucking ignorant.
Do you not remember D-Day? Operation Desert Storm/Shield? Korea? World War 1? the American Revolution? The War of 1812?
All of those wars where costing people lives and freedom. Who was the biggest force in most of them? I'll give you a hint... it start with "the United States".

@Slaves: Most people blow slavery out of proportion. The amount of slave holding families in the US was always low.
@Britain: Why does it matter? Taking over countries to add to your territory was how the world had always been. Did you expect them to stop it?
@Economy: You don't care about economy? Why do you support socialism so much, then?

I understand that those wars, yes, were for the protection of American people. And I whole-heartedly respect the vertrans of WWII and other such wars. But the current wars, they're useless.

Still, they had slaves, which, to me, is morally unjust.

I was telling xBrad how his country was formed, contrary to his beliefs.

Because a Socialist economy is the best way to support human beings.

- Operation Desert Storm was the last offensive before the War on Terrorism.
- Africans also had slaves. Most slaves that America were sold to us by Africans, indirectly. Almost every past power had slaves at some point.

- You said that American was established by the British and a government who murdered and betray Native Americans. That's not "contrary to his belief". They teach us that in school every year.

- You just said that you didn't care about the economy.

Where does it say "You musn't protest funerals" -.-

Where it says treat others as you would like to be treated? Just maybe.

The US is not the only place to have slaves bro, slaves have been everywhere throughout history. When one nation conquers another, they tend to take them as slaves or kill them.

And this land was colonized for the British when they came over, it was claimed under the Brits. But the United States was founded because the people over here wanted to be separate from the British, because they had different ideas, and wanted freedom.

So you can't blame the early ideals of this land based on what the British did when they came over here. The US gov tried to find a way to modernize the lands, while keeping the native american tribes in contact (it ended bad, but they tried).

And The US didn't start the war, we got attacked, so we reacted. I mean, if I punched you in the face and killed your entire family are you going to just stand there and take it?

And why do you keep making up things? "contrary to his beliefs" how do you know my beliefs? I never stated them...

If they were gay, they probably would want people to protest at their funerals.
Wait, why would a gay, want anti-gay protestors at his funeral?

STRONG said:
Christianity has a bad name? Syntax error right there.

I just read this, common. I obviously meant it as bad reputation...
