According to my friend, it's a really good movie. It's also highly rated on Rotten Tomatoes, etc. I'm planning to see it with my other friend at the cinemas, give me a heads up if it's worth the money ^.^

It's a decent watch, but the main depresso kid's an idiot toward the end and you feel super sorry for his cousin :S
I saw it the day it came out, was alright but I'd prefer movies with a less darker ending.

Yeah I saw it on 1channel.ch, but I don't watch camera-filmed copies - they're horrific lol. Doubt anyone can sit through those, though I might be wrong. Wondered if he was in the cinema but who makes threads in the cinema?

It's fucking shit. The end. Terrible, predictable storyline

If you know anything about films, you can tell what's going to happen in a movie from just the trailer.

Trailor gave so much away, I just saw it then but didn't really live up to my expectations, the way where they always had to show it through their video camera got annoying.

Were you not old enough to watch the Blair Witch Project when it came out, or what? lol The point of having it like that is to emulate the style, and attempt to reach out to an audience that has seen a movie go to an almost cult style. It's not about conforming to the standard plot progressions that most movies share, it's about attempting to forge a slightly unique one.

Cbf replying to each separate post tbh, it'll take way too long.

Personally, I love the camera POV since Cloverfield, never enjoyed the Blair Witch Project.

The movie is epic and character development was done well but could have been improved upon, sadly the site I was streaming off went to shit and ended the movie for me 20 minutes before the end.

I don't know where you got the idea that I said they were similar.
The point of using the same camera style is to attempt to bring something different to the film.

Think of every cliche horror movie plot. Think of every comedy movie that goes gags > problem > fight > forgiveness > moral. Think of every built up action plot that somehow ends in the defeat of the villain or antagonist. The movie does share some things with the "normal movie", but I brought up the other movie because it is one that brought new ideas to the table.
