I have bought a Instagram from a banned user on here (Just noticed) for our business Drown.\

LSS; He scammed me and admitted it after the deal was made.

My question: Is FK legally allowed to give us his IP Adress so we can contact his ISP about his name etc?
This is only a big deal because @Drown (Not the guys FK, thats the Instagram username) is the name of our business and its trademarked.


EDIT: Called PayPal, we got ALL of our money back. We are going to the trademark office to get the documents and Instagram will give the username back.

Few points: The kid tried to DDoS me from CMD LOL. We got his IP address.
The reason why we needed his IP was for the trademark office so they could have his name.
How do his IP give us his name? We called his ISP and got it.

Even though you were scammed, FK or Philly would never release private information like that. (Unless the feds asked) xD

That's what I mean, we are going to a trademark office and court to get the username back.
If the police asked in some way, can we get it?

Most likely the only way to get this information is by having the feds bring in a subpoena requesting the users information unless Philly or Raptor would give it to you willingly.

mate if its your trademark then you can tell instafram about that and they will happily oblige..

and announcing in public here that u will go to police and then ask FK admins abt the scammer IP is a threat..

and why do u need his IP

Instagram staff will give you your username if u have enugh proof that u own the trademark..

Incorrect, if the username is active or too "generic" they will not hand over the username. Also he wants his IP address so he can report it to the police since scamming is an actual crime.

Don't even bother. Even if you managed to get it, it wouldn't matter. The ISP is never going to give you info unless the feds gets involved.

This thread is getting out of control.. I needed his IP for police sake.
He hacked my Instagram with our username Drown and changed it and turboed it for everyone wondering.

How the fuck is selling an Instagram username considered illegal, if anything Instagram can ban the account and that's the end of it. They can't send you to prison.

Instagram is your best bet, if you have the proper trademark documents then they will return it to you.

I had the instagram @epson in my possession and left it inactive, stupidly. Was going to sell it to the company but they contacted instagram and it was taken off my account.
