These warnings shouldn't even be necessary anymore. Why would someone deal offsite without full knowledge of the person who owns the Kik? People need to smarten up honestly.

some people just take their word for it believing it's them and go for it, there are also a lot of new people who go first to everyone. it's unfortunate, but it happens...

Perhaps there needs to be a marketplace rule where you can only deal in PM's. You cannot even suggest talking on Kik or the thread is removed. Something needs to be done for newer members, as of course we already know how things work.

This literally just happened to me a few days ago, although he wasn't a acting as the KIK was me
