Mine dropped in the toilet. I put it in a ziploc bag full of rice (so much so it covered the full surface area) and left it there for like 12 hours.
My iPhone works like a charm.

i took it out and it works fine should i put it back in and leave it overnight or just keep on using it? it works fine but i just wanna make sure

Can't you put it in a freezer and it'll freeze the water?

Put it in a bag of rice overnight.
If it doesn't power on when you wake up, leave it in the bag for another night.

I dropped my old iPhone 4 in the toilet then put it in a bag of rice and it worked perfectly fine the next day

Fill a bag with rice, and put your phone in it. The rice sucks up the moisture in the phone. Wait for a week, and it should be fine. If not, you're fucked.

Put your phone in rice for around 1 week. The rice will attract asians and they'll fix your electronics for you.

Pretty logical things you can do, such as use a hair dryer.
