My bad, change question to post and reread what I said. I don't think you understand anything going on in this thread so let me explain it to you so you can comprehend it.
If I close my thread and want to reopen it I can't. I would be told that my thread was closed by a moderator even though it was actually closed by me.

I see that and understand that, but to my knowledge there is no way to make it so that users can re-open threads they closed, but not threads a staff member closed, which is why I stated that this feature will not be brought back because it can be a real nuisance when we close threads and users re-open them.
