Well, I have my college interview Thursday! So it should be a bit nerve wracking but hey ho!

Im applying for Level 3 Graphics Design, also Game Design at Level 3 which is the following week!

I have about 20 pages in my portolio, and 2 art books from school. Hope I'll do okay! Im a fairly confident speaker so yeah! :D

Any tips?

Is it pretty easy?

COLLEGES (spelling mistake) and @fade they don't give a shit about a portfolio. They will read it for 30 seconds to a minute tops. The point of an interview is to 'interview' I.e. bodily and verbal communication. If you want to get in you have to stand out. Be the nicest and most confident candidate and you'll get picked. Your portfolio doesn't matter at all.

My sister done fine art, she made a portfolio, some art books, and they still wanted more haha.

Thanks for your advice though, I guess a portfolio would help out?

Sure it will help, but only to give you something to talk about. I personally know people who work at colleges in the application process who tell me that if they read everyone's portfolio and resume they would go crazy. Remember that college is a COMPETITION, and if you show the same boring stack of papers as everyone else they won't even remember you when you walk out that door. Set yourself apart. Talk to them about your experiences and what you will bring to their school as a student.

Are you from the UK man? I think you are from what I remember but I did Level 3 Game Design at college in my interview they basically asked me what programs I'm familiar with some of the things I have done before I tried not to mention making YouTube banners and videos but I just thought who cares it's experience so I just said I did free lance YouTube backgrounds avatars and wallpapers for people and they seemed to like that answer, But to be honest it was pretty calm and mostly signing forms haha Good luck man! :)
