do you believe we are doing well comparatively or are we doing well for "us"? Because personally I don't understand why people want America to be seen as the leader in every criteria and every field. I think we should do the best for us, not try to be the best in the world.

What's not possible? Reformation? Reformation is entirely possible. It would most definitely be beneficial. How would it not? It's an initiative for refinement.

There's no way I can be implying laziness if my basis is refinement guided by initiative and honesty with oneself. You're assuming. Stop assuming. I never stated life is to be exempt of work or education. I meant these concepts were to reformed, per se, so our true nature may be prioritized and embodied.

Your point about teachers being mindless is really good. I've always tried to explain that to people but they argue that teachers are almost always geniuses.

I go to a nice private high school which prides in their academics and I've yet to figure out what the point of all the bullshit is.

You say, "a reformation of standardized testing", by reformation do you mean there should still be standardized tests? If so, what could be different and how would that still be effective?

If you argue against standardized tests altogether, what do you suggest be done for wide scale statistics and such from tons of students?

I feel inclined to say we ostracize it entirely, however, I have strong inclinations that's just my bias speaking. I would have to thoroughly examine the benefices and the necessity of standardized testing to make an accurate attestation of that. Though, the seeming likelihood is that it would most likely remain, however, would entertain very different ideals; that being a prioritization of critical thinking rather than memorized information in order to make a more accurate attestation of one's character.

Holy shit, I just got mind fucked.
I'm in the 9th grade and I have always put in the effort needed to make a good grade and never have really thought about this.
Everyone has there own specialty and I would have to say that this explains school so perfectly.
