Does anyone else have this "OCD" about computers?

Every time I see a computer, No matter If it's at a relatives house, Neighbors, School, Public area. I'm always interested to find someone to ask what the specifications are.

I'm talking about doing it so much, people get annoyed. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

Nope. As long as it has a keyboard, mouse, screen, and some buttons, I'm good.
No but I really need to learn some stuff about computers.

I can teach you some things, Wanna talk on Skype? :)

I'm very knowledgeable, but of course Inxy and Adam are very well intelligent in this area too.

I can't right now as I'm about to go to bed. I'm basically free on the weekends though :)

Okay, :).

I have the ocd to tell people to buy a new computer if theirs is terrible. (given after I ask them and they tell me that its terrible)

for example, my friend says he has a computer at home. I say what kind of processor / how much ram do you have? He respond saying "idk... its realllly slow though!"... a few days later i happen to be over there and I decide to check it out. He has like 1.2 ghz single core processor with like 500mb of ram. I wanted to slap him lol

Oh wow, what year is that computer? :\

Even my old laptop from like 5+ years ago has a duel core processor with like 2 GB Ram. lol

They said like 7 years, or something like that. They got ripped on it too. My friend lives with his grandmother (as do I with mine) and she knows nothing about computers, and spent about $700 on it. I guess is not as bad of a deal for 7 years ago, but thats still pretty fucking bad.

Nope I dont, but sometimes I'm curious

You'd be amazed at the terrible specs of computers. I thought my single core Pentium 4 processor at 3.4GHz with 1.5GB of RAM was bad. I went online and discovered someone was asking if he should upgrade from 256MB...

i am pretty OCD with my computers i guess, but my desktop is usually pretty messy.. :/

Also, I'm thinking of making an old laptop into a media server for my house, do you think that would take a lot of organising?
