Contest idea

I simple way to get some contests started with the money you have.

Create-A-Contest!
Members must think of contests that have not been used on Runegear before. They will list the pros/cons of the contest. Staff can ask any questions they want. After the deadline they can choose some contests, award the person, and then use those ideas!

Personally, I wouldn't mind a media themed contest. Such as design a picture or video contest, that way the contest would have a more broad range of people that can win.


On the other hand, I feel like no matter the idea, people will always find a way to argue.

You must make a runescape tutorial over anything which you find useful and helpful to other members.

Create a tutorial and organize your thread as much as possible to make it look perfect. (Add Pictures which will make it better!)

The best tutorial wins.

This will also help the new forum members and let them read the tuts!

It's not a bad idea but better than "singing,editing,GFX or any simliar"
Why? : Cause that sections you need to be good at it. I bet alot here are good at GFX or Video editing and if they get that they will control it.

So making tutorials is fair to all because all have to find something good to make a tut about!

That's not fair at all. Some are PRO at designing on this forum and some aren't so who are good would win your contest idea easy!

Not really much of a contest, contest's shouldn't require buyins but instead should be the forum giving back to the community. That's what The Elite does.

yes the lottery idea is not good as it will get spammed. But this is a runescape forum guys and my idea fits the forum by making runescape guides it will help alot of members and the best tutorial gets a good prize.
