Okay, so after all that happened with the last posting contest with people spamming too much for the prize money, I have come up with an idea.
When another posting contest is planned by The Elite, the point system should be implemented again. However, only The Elite and Mike should be able to see how many points an individual has. Also, when a contest is planned the community shouldn't know. That way, the contest is going on and points are being accumulated by each person based on their activity but the community doesn't know that. So there will be no unnecessary spamming.
Pros:
No spamming just for the sake of winning gold.
The members who are truly active at all times and not just for contests will win instead of those who post just for the sake of winning gold.
There will be an element of surprise for the community and more so for the winners which will bring a smile to the face of all.
