Contradictory Athiests

See now I'm religious, bag me out all you want it doesn't necessarily bother me.

But what does bother me is the fact that most athiests seem to feel the need to say "Your religion is wrong, God doesn't exist" and then proceed to say we shove our beliefs down peoples throats.

But in saying that you are contradicting yourselves, saying that we're shoving our beliefs down peoples throats, but in all honesty, everything you're saying is contradictory and ultimately makes athiesm a religion in itself.

This is the reason I prefer agnostic people, they simply don't give a shit about religion, they don't choose to argue their beliefs of science or nothingness.

I agree with what you're saying 100%. Its annoying mainly on HF when i could say " I believe in God". Then 30 people harass me saying that what i believe is wrong. When i never criticized what they believe to be true. But yet me being a christian im automatically considered a hypocrite.

I believe that there was probably a person called Jesus, I just don't believe there was him "dieing" and then coming to life again. If it did happen, then why doesn't it happen to people now a days?

You need to know that a lot of religious people nowadays (younger generations) believe in Jesus and God, but that is all, they don't feel as if the power of Christ should compel them to do idiotic things.

All I ask is that you be more open minded and know that there are religious people out there who are generally nice people who won't even talk about their religion in person. For instance, myself.
