Cross Country

Hello FK,

I just joined a cross country team for the first time this trimester and had a lot of fun challenging myself. I thought the road was rough and unforgiving but with more practice and conditioning I became rather strong and my power doubled. It was also fun to build up my lung power and see how far I could run without taking breaks. So, are there any cross country runners here? What do you think the hardest part is?

Im eager to hear from you guys.

I absolutely love Cross Country! Always placed back in highschool.
Most difficult part? Hmm, most likely the last straight stretch towards the finish, if there's someone else close to you, really exerting that power to sprint that last stretch takes some serious willpower.

Wow thats what I find easy! My first race I passed two guys. This asian got a bit rough and pushed me but it was like a Mitsubishi versus a Ford GT40 lol.

Me! I did cross country last year not this year not sure why but yes the best part of it is when your about to hit the finish line and you beat someone at the last second I feel like I'm on top of the world when I do that

I ran cross country in 8th grade. I liked seeing how much further and faster I could run after the season, and I would have kept doing it if I wasn't also doing lacrosse. Running a few miles in the morning and than practicing lacrosse after school for 2 hours just got to be too much.
