You open cases after every match, I think they cost a few dollars or something. Either you get something worth $0.01 or you get lucky and get something worth $100+

Wrong, first you have to get a fucking case, whether it be a gift from a friend a purchase from the store for like $2 or gift from a reseller, then you have to go and buy the corresponding key to your case.

It's because this is part of the reason I spent over $7k in csgo back when I was in the marketplace business. So I really h8 anything valve has to offer at this point. It's a gamble really, if you get good shit you can sell it, if you get bad shit (99% of the time you do) you lose money.
