I jam to this on my ipod sometimes, it's pretty crazy.
But kind of ironic it was his mother and he didn't notice before.

Well, it depends on what you're thinking about. If you're going solely off of what he's rapping about, his content, then he's amazing. If you want to go into lyricism and such, he really isn't anything too special. Definitely not bad, though. My comment saying that this is his only good song was directed towards the fact that Dance with the Devil is the only song of his that I would bother downloading.

Listen to the second song I posted there. His lyrics are better than most rappers today.

I'm not referring to rappers today, I'm referring to rappers in general. While his lyrics may be better in what he's actually talking about (content), the complexity and creativity of his rhymes aren't too great, and at times it seems as if you can already tell what he's going to say because his rhymes are that obvious. What made "old school" rap so great was because, at the time, if you weren't a good, original lyricists, you weren't considered a good rapper. Some of the greatest lyricists were Rakim, Treach, KRS-One, and Melle-Mel, to name a few. Just about any well-known rapper from the 80s and 90s was a skilled lyricist (save for the G-Funk people, they were aiming for something else).

This song isn't true, the only reason he said it was before was so people would absorb the message of the song more. #DontliveTheThugLifeOrYouEndUpFuckinYoMama
