Overview:
Ten years ago, Heave's Gate appeared in South America, and shortly after Hell's Gate rose in Tokyo. At the arrival of the gates a new false sky was born, and in the sky were false stars. Each of the false stars was the life of a Contractor. These Contractors were people who pledged their soul to the darkness in order to gain a supernatural power. These powers come at a price though.

The story revolves around a Chinese contractor named Hei as he undergoes mission that involve assassinations and espionage under the order of the Syndicate.

Darker Than Black Gemini of the Meteor
Overview:
The story continues with Hei a few years after the end of the original series. Eurasian, one of the new characters in the story meets up with Hei, and together they return to Hell's Gate in Tokyo.

Haha I was expecting more of a review but this is more of an overview. If anyone hasn't seen this yet, make sure you watch the OVAs before season 2!

Yeah it's just not as good that way. I think i remember checking it out on ANiDB before I started watching it =P

I should have done that as well. Oh well still a great series. I actually watched the first season of Darker Than Black about four years ago. I just noticed that they had a season two, so I watched it and loved it.

Yeah, but Im not a hardcore. I watch the basics, Naruto, One Piece, Death Note, Zatch Bell, etc

Anime is really hit and miss, I personally either love or hate each one I watch.
