DDoS support?

I don't know if this hosting has it, but there's two ways to protect against a DDoS.

Either set it up with the hosting, to basically send trash "traffic" (It's read by if large amount of traffic is coming in at once, it'll block it)

Or get a https (HTTP Secure) And this way, in order for our site to be taken off line they'll have to directly hit our API, and considering most skids taking the time to hit a RS forum, they won't know how to get the API of a site.

Lol?
Dude, u cant say that nothing will DDoS The site If It has some kind of DDoS Protection.
Maybe a booter or something cant, but If someone wants to crash this site he just uses a botnet, It goes through everything.

Not necessarily, I have precautions and measures set up against DDOS attacks.

If you have a big enough botnet, u can take down everything, DDoS Protection or not.

Trust me, If u got a big botnet, u also know how to use It.

A botnet costs DAMN much moneys, and DAMN much time. :)

Not unless you make it yourself :p

If you have Https, it actually makes a huge difference, like I said, then the API needs to be hit, not the IP they get from pinging us.
