For.

You have some people who just can't be left in society, and with all these people committing these crimes today such as, rape, murder, tax evasion (kidding). They should pay the crime, and instead of serving their life in jail, they should get like some type of fucking pendulum swinging across their fucking stomach.

I for one don't agree with the death penalty. It is inhumane. Killing someone for killing someone isn't accomplishing anything except showing that we as a society are giant hypocrites. Yes, it might get that person out of the world so they can't do what they did anymore, but there are other ways, such as putting them in high-security prisons for life. With the prison way the person could also go through therapy sessions to work out why the committed said crime.

i agree but the justice system can be really messed up.

Say your in a bank, there are 2 armed bank robbers, one has shot and killed 2 people, you be a hero and still the gun off one of the robbers and shoot and kill both of them.

you go to jail even though you probably saved alot of innocent people?

Personally, I feel that the family of the victim should be allowed to decide their fate.

If I was the father of a little girl and some sick, demented guy decided to rape and kill her... I would want to deliver as much pain to them as possible. I should be able to tie him up, rip his teeth out with pliers, shove shards of glass under his fingernails, and then piss on his body when I am done. Then after that, let him rot in jail for the rest of his life because I personally believe living in segregation for the rest of your life would be much worse then a "painless" lethal injection.

I do not believe in forgiveness when it comes to sex offenders, pedophiles, murderers, etc..

If you did all this...what makes you a better human that the sick person who would do that?

I'm all for killing these people that do kill other people, but like...some people do have an arguement like..."killing people is bad, so were gonna kill this person because they killed someone" ?

Just think if your daughter was rape'd and murdered, are you saying you wouldn't wanna bring that person as much pain as possible? the things i would do to a person if i had a daugther and she was raped and murdered..you don't even wanna know.

I think you would be doing a world a favor and showing an example to people who do shit like that, i think it would cut down on people raping and murdering.

I really do understand your point and that any human being would want to seek revenge. I just don't think that doing all that stuff towards a human being, even if he has done something awful like that is acceptable. If you are a man of faith, most gods teach to forgive people of their sins, if you are not I will say it again.. what makes you a better man, after you have beat this human to death and tortured him?

Their is a story about a person during the massacre in Africa about a black woman who's husband and children had been taken away by white people. They were torched and burned together were the woman was forced to watch. Cut a long story short, they captured the people who did it and the woman who's family had been killed... forgave the men and asked nothing of the people expect to spend 2 days a month with her in, so she could treat her like her lost sons who he had killed. Also the last words of the burning man was "Forgive Them"

Well, i don't know if i beleive in god or not, and i know you should forgive but i wouldn't be able to forgive someone if that did something like that, i would have to seriosuly think about it, i wouldn't want to kill them, i would want to torture them and do what ever i could, i wouldn't kill them though, i would have them spend life in jail, i wouldn't let them get away with it. Sorry, i guess i'm just one of those people who can't forgive someone for doing something that horriable.. they should know what would happen to them if they raped and murdered someone..they have it comming.

I know this is long overdue, but I completely forgot about this section.

A story about a woman who forgave the men who completely destroyed everything in her life had no movement on me at all.

If the world was like that, we wouldn't need jails right? Because if someone did something, they would be forgiven and let go. Well, I don't think that is correct as I would personally need the justice of my likings to get over something that traumatic.

And anyways, that is why I said it should be up to the family of the victim to decide the fate of the convicted person(s). If they decide to forgive them for what they did, then so be it. But personally, I would want to make sure they never forgot what they did because most people just don't change like that.

Sure, they MAY live with an emotional scar that will remind them of what they did, but I would want to make sure that they never forgot about the lives they destroyed.

what about this:

The judge sentences them to the death penalty, what if the Judge picked how the person die but if the judge wanted to leave it up to the prisoner. He has 1 week to pick how he wants to go then they do all the paper work, he is on death row for how ever many years then he goes the way he wanted.
