Recently an 18 year old black male was shot and killed by a white law enforcement officer. The white officer was driving down a street and noticed the black male jay walking. The the officer asked the individual to step on the sidewalk and stay off the street. The guy argued with the officer about it and the officer stepped out of his patrol car and just as he did the black male put his hand in his jacket pocket and at that time the officer pulled his firearm and shot the 18 year old. A few seconds later the 18 year old was dead.
Most people are asking why the officer shot and killed the boy.
The answer is that it was because the boy reached into his jacket pocket and the officer thought it could have been a gun and under the safety of the officer, he felt it was necessary to shoot the 18 year old.
NOTE: The boy ended up not having a gun on him.
The officer that shot the 18 year old is on paid leave and is currently not being investigated by the police department and was noted as acceptable under department regulations.
How did the black community react to this?
In that city, black people make up a large population. Ever since the shooting, these people feel that it is acceptable to break into stores and steal from hard working local and privately owned businesses and set fires to buildings just because someone of there race was killed by an officer.
I personally do not think that it is acceptable for black individuals to act like this when someone of their own race is killed by a white man. When white people are killed by a black people, you don't see white people acting this way at all. If a white person ever did feel like he was attacked because of his race and filed for hate crime then it will usually be shaken off because he was white.
I am not a racist. I firmly believe that America is a melting pot. We are not ******s, or faggots, or crackers, or spiks. We are hard working Americans and we should all act as such.
I wanna know your opinion on this matter. Please, NO Flaming Users. Try to talk to each other with respect.
