Deck size ? [Help]

I've been meaning to get into skating. [font=Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif]All i can do right now is ollie. The thing is, I have never really owned my own deck so i have a few questions on what size i should get and sizes for the other supplies i guess you could say for the board. Thanks in advance for anyone that could help.[/font]

I personally skate a 8.25, and its really nice, i like it. I would say go for a 8 or a 7.825.
Don't go to Zumiez btw, go support a local shop!​

Yeah i thought about skating an 8, and do you know which wheel size i should go with and truck size? either low or high? i'm not really sure the difference, but i would say  a low no ?

It's all really personal preference with your trucks. I personally go with high's. Size depends on the brand, if you get thunders then 147 with size 8 deck. Wheels, as well, is a preference. I go with 52mm every time because i'm used to it.

Looks nice! Only thing is to get trucks that are 8's and not 7.75 then you're good! Enjoy man, and shred. ​

i skate 7.75 usually.

I don't mind if it's 8 but i don't go above that
