I was there on hamburger hill. Popped up in the middle of the shit after being in a tunnel for 3+ weeks armed with only a 1911a1 and kabar..

When I emerged I was blinded by the sun, deafened still from a desperate use of my weapon in the tunnels. By the time I got my bearings and could see Lame was mortally wounded, I grabbed his m16 and started to take the hill alone. Goddamned gooks were every fucking where. I still cant go to chinatown without packing.. as the bodies piled up and the last zipperhead dropped lame still gurgling his last breaths drew me in close, then closer and after burping in my face as one final prank made me swear on my "nan" that id support his pardon should I ever get staff on sythe.org, oh and that "Bahb Dillen is nambah 1" (had my fingers crossed for this part).

After carrying him 2 clicks south to the rice paddy where we had (our) first erotic encounter to bury him I was cut by the rusted edge of the shovel.

And thats how I got tetanus.
