Okay, so I've wanted to make a thread like this for a while now, personally I don't like the way that awards are just handed out like cupcakes, I feel as if awards should be something sought after for with hard work or contributions and not something you can just buy for $5, the value of awards is legitimately worthless because of all this.

Shit like this constantly is annoying.

Personally I think you should delete 90% of the awards at the moment and revamp the whole system to make the site more clean and high quality.

What about the people who have bought their own award though? Should they be refunded?

I really agree with this. It's the reason I don't have any except the best award. How would he decide what to delete? Idk if he would actually delete things people paid for though...

This will not happen. Because philly would have to refund every single award. Then every single award owner would have to rerund the buyers. It would be a disaster. Wouldn't be worth the effort over the minority opionion.

Have 1 special award only given out to the previous members who've owned awards, most of the people that own awards only sell it for like $5 or 1 koin which is pretty much worthless anyways.

People like to buy awards, make it a buy-in, then when they get a decent profit, then sell it. Anime award isn't like that at all :") That's what I think anyway : P

Agreed, maybe not all, but some buy-in's specifically seem to have no purpose except for the one user to make profit from.

I'm guilty, for buying into the odd award, but I would much rather try to do something other than pay.

The awards are awards for a reason, having to strive to achieve a goal, and completing a challenge.

Just an opinion, although I sadly don't belive much will be done.

This is post right here is on point, an award should be a goal to go for, I'm fine with all the donation awards since they help run the forum it's just the other awards I really dislike and make the site look unprofessional.

@Junior I think it would be cool if there was an award for every group. but only for the groups that were not buy-in so it would mean more to get into the group and get the award, I also believe it would be nice to have awards for every 500 posts?, personal awards are very cool but I think there should be a category of awards with more worth, for example an award like getting 10,000 posts should be in the category of 'prime' awards and something like 'Ghost' would be in the 'Personal/buy-in' category? just a thought.

No lol just delete the awards or ban buy-ins. 

Well there should be buyins  but they should be $30+

Yeah maybe something around that mark, I'd like to see more creative ways to achieve an award, I sort of stopped purchasing buy-in awards as recently a few of them have transferred owner which deletes them from me
