[DENIED] New Rank : Trade With Caution / TWC

There have been quite a few scam reports as of recently.

Many members are being accused of scamming and some proof give has not been sufficient or decisive enough to prove of them scamming.

Now when that happens, what do we do? Let the member keep attempting to scam?

No, we should give them a badge that says "TWC" . This means trade with caution. Any member seen with this badge should be thought twice about when trading with them. If you are going to do deals, use a MM. A "TWC" rank should not mean that the person who has it needs to go first, just that you should use a MM to prevent the risk of being scammed.

yes but what hes saying is that the scam report isn't sufficient enough to prove anything to ban the user.

i honestly think that TWC thing might not work because people will see they got a award and be like" oh yeh hes trusted he has an award "maybe something a bit less "rewarding" to be in place if there of suspicion of scamming

mmm thats STILL kind of a reward. Because they might think its a good usergroup. yes there are ALOT of idiot people out there.

Im thinking more along the lines of The_Elite making there sig something like.

"In suspicion of scamming, trade with caution". The_Elite

I can see a little of abuse with this. People can lie about scams and then force the other person to get a TWC award without doing anything. And then no one will want to trade with a guy that is claimed to scam.

as we've discussed, the problem is there isnt a sufficient amount of proof to ban them.

The idea is good but I don't think creating a new user group would be the best method.
Why? Because what if they are not?! Then it could ruin their sales.

I like what you are getting at but there must be a fair method for everyone.

We follow the policy of "Innocent unless proven guilty". If the proof isn't sufficient enough, then they will not be labeled with a userbar that will label them as a scammer. It may not say "Scammer", but it's known by the community as the Scammer Bar. If a member scams, they will simply be banned.
