Would recommend at least a Cooler Master Hyper EVO 212 cooler as he's going to be recording too and the stock cooler won't do that great

Replaced the CPU Cooler with more cost effecient one. Replaced RAM with faster RAM with lower latency (should help recording a bit)

Apologies but I haven't read any of the other pages in this thread.
What kind things are you going to be doing on it? Do you use Photoshop or other heavy editing software? You mentioned games in the OP, what kind of games?
What is your preference on aesthetics? Does your budget include peripherals or is it for the PC alone?
