Okay, so my birthdays coming up "9\11". Yeah I'm serious, don't hate :x and I'm getting a desktop for my birthday. The price range is 600-1000$, must be shipped to the US and include a display screen, keyboard and mouse.
Thank you for your time

Like, 320GB hdd, 2gb ram, or 1tb hdd, 4gb ram.

Mediocre CPU, good cpu, mediocre gpu, good gpu.

High end stuff, or invest the money in one specific part?

I just want decent parts all around, if you could make it 500GB+ and maybe 6GB of Ram with a good GPU.
I know nothing about computers

You prefer Intel over AMD? Or vise versa? For higher end computers, as well as gaming computers Intel is the better processor, but some people prefer AMD.
