Development Team

Would you be interested in this idea? The users in the development team would have to write original content tutorials daily (or a specific number a week). This would help MF a lot and would increase the amount of HQ posts.

Development team makes it seem like the group would be in change of handling all development aspects of MF, so you'd need a different name.

Yeah I was thinking that too, I was PM'ing Quiet about it and realized it sounds too much like a "coding team" for MF specifically. It'll probably be called Writers, as that's what they would be doing.

Writing a tutorial a day seems a little much. Especially when some tutorials may take hours to write if you count in research and grammar correction. However the idea of a group doing exactly what is explained in the OP seems like a good idea.

Users who are dedicated to writing original and HQ tutorials in their preferred section will get invited by myself, Sky- or LMCampbell only. Just wandering if you lot think this is a good idea, or do we have too many individual groups?

I think this group will be aimed at people who are fully committed.

I would say 1 a day would be a bit much. I'd say a good number would be 3 or 4 a week, as that ensures the tutorial is well thought out.

It actually would increase high quality posts. Since each word is conducted intellectually, others will want to copy.

I think this is a good idea.
Make sure it's small and invite only like you said. Make it super exclusive and be really strict on the rules.

I think we sort of have too many groups at the moment, personally I would recommend releasing the middleman group first, and then wait a bit before this group surfaces.

If it were an official group, I'd be very interested in leading it or co-leading it with another member.
Tutorials are a huge part of forum postings. I've probably made over 20+ tutorials for HF.
