If you are into good bollywood movies, try Amir Khan. He makes good ones.
My favorite is Dil Chahta Hai.
it's about playing the cricket game where their taxes are at stake. They are farmers who learned to play it so that they can have all their harvest in full three years.

Amir khan's best film must be 3 Idiots,it is about 3 students who enter into a undergraduate college and problems they face in the Indian education system and stereotype parents emphasis on their child to take up engineering irrespective of their interest.Amir khan in this is all against this makes their friends what they should be.It is full comedy entertainer written by IItian.

I think, every movie Amir Khan makes is a sure box-office hit. isn't he just known as Mr. perfectionist?

You should also try Every Child is Special.

ya he is known as Mr.perfectionist but i feel the writer is much better than him !Not all his movies are box-office hits one flop is Talaash(search in english) and you meant to say by every child is special is that Taara zamein par (stars on earth) in which a small child is removed from his school and then he joins boarding school where meets amir khan and finds his true skills.

actually there director of amir khan's film also made many other good films those are also good,It depends more on the story of the movie rather how popular the hero or heroin is!

I think he chooses now what kind of film he will be in. That should have a good plot.
