Disgraced to be called an American

Ok FK its Curley again i want your guys honest opinions on what i am about to say anyone who knows me well knows i have very strong hatred of how our country has been being run for years.

i havent been proud to be an American in a long ass time, i consider it a disgrace to be called one to be honest, it comes with the label of a society where ignorance is praised and knowledge is looked down at, the culture is pathetic everything from trends to the "popular music" , the government stands for corporations and themselves. I'm so ready to move out of this place, i refuse to stay in a country where i feel i can not move up or better myself or when i chose to settle down and have a family i'm struggling to provide for my kids while billionaires get away with anything here. Money does truly talk in this bought out country.

Typically, when I'm referred to as an "American," it's the foreign kids on XBOX making fun of me with their hamburger and obesity remarks.

Society-wise, our country is an utter disgrace. The levels of hypocrisy, arrogance, and disrespect for its own citizens is disgusting.

Yeah man. When I went to the states last year it seemed pretty cool, but that was from a tourist's point of view. Not a resident who has to go through all the other hassles.

I don't give a fuck what foreign people think about America. I'm proud to be an American and not a fucking terrorist or somebody from a 3rd world country. I get food, a house, clothes, and so many other things. A lot of people in the world strive to get what I have. And it is all because I was lucky enough to be born in a great country. You can say it is bad because of the government. But you forget about what we provide to the planet. We provide disaster relief, we provide food, clothes, etc to countries that struggle to have these things. We are part of the UN and are one of the biggest effluences around the world. You really think everyone hates America? Hell no 1000s of people try to get in America illegally everyday. If it is so bad then why try? Peace.

We live in a country that was founded as a secular nation, for the people. Now, we have migrated to a theocratic oligarchy that has no empathy for its citizens. We spend time literally trying to take health care away from people, trying to get rid of support for the lower classes, trying to impose our doctrines on others, etc. It's pathetic and disgusting.

Not necessarily communism. However, any society needs socialistic policies in order to provide for the common welfare. Capitalism, as good as it is, shits on the little guy every single time.

As my field of view, and not even American:
- The resident life of an American is horrible.
- The US wants to be the biggest army, in the meanwhile they tell others to stop trying to become the biggest.
- School systems are fucked up: I bet 50% of the American people I know, don't even know that Holland & The Netherlands is the same.
- The government SPIES on their own civilians, to add a cherry to the top of the pie: even other countries aswell.
- The government does NOTHING to get rid of the obesity, where they could have paid restaurants who sell fast food, to make the salads cheaper.
- I asume this website says enough about the debt.
- Can't even store their own nuclear warheads, let just put them in The Netherlands.
- When being asked to take back their nuclear warheads, they refuse.

I am an American i was born here legally, and see thats just it we are the first to go off to war with another country billions of dollars to aid another country but forget we have millions of people living in poverty and homeless here back at home. Yes, tons of people try to get here then once here to find out what they had been told about America the great was a great huge lie.

Of course money is what's talking, that's how capitalism works. Americans aren't inherently bad, but in a society where money is the main focus of life you have to expect all different sorts of things popping up in the pursuit of more money, e.g. big shady corporations and popular music. With citizens being influenced by these things, it's no wonder why they are as they are.

You can't blame the government for the obesity. Lazy ass people can't lose some fucking weight. We store our own ICBMs, mostly on submarines actually. The first one is wrong. There is so much support you can get. The government gives money to people who are too fucking ignorant to get a job. If your lazy ass wont get tf out of the house and get a job, you don't deserve to thrive. you don't deserve your iPhone, salon visits, nice houses, and free money. Personally, I think you don't deserve shit. This is kind of caused by the bad school system, but you can be a drop out and still at least work in fast food. Sorry this is coming from a 15 year old's point of view.

Also the one thing I can SERIOUSLY agree with you on is the school system. It's fucking bullshit. Waking me up at 5 every day to be around a bunch of idiots and dumbass teachers who think they know everything doesn't do the job. I don't learn shit and I still get stressed the fuck out about it all.
