Obesity is a disease and food addiction can be just as harmful and real as addiction to drugs. You blame people's obesity on laziness when it's really not the cause. Losing weight isn't a physical challenge, it's also mental.

Hey, im not necessarily happy with whats going on with out country either.. the rich are rich for a reason, the government taxes the shit out of them over everything man. They take rich people and make their hard work go to waste by taking them out. I feel bad for the people fighting for our country right now. I kind of over exaggerated it a bit. But no, obesity is NOT a disease. Sometimes people do it due to depression, and food disorders, but most don't. Most people are just fat because they don't do anything. And about the jobs thing, you're right but does that mean all 11 million of them are even TRYING to get a job? Why would they need a job when they can get everything they need to live for free? I guarantee at least half of them aren't even trying. Being proud to be a American has nothing to do with the government, and all to do with the country.

I am proud to be an American though I may not totally agree with the path our country is going towards but I could care less. Yes, the US is fairly superior to most other countries and yes we have our flaws but every country has it's own issues.

Answer this. Where would you rather live? Tbh The United States is the most ideal place to be because it's the land of the free. That might not mean much but The US is by-far the best place to be.

Most other countries have worse problems then us. Just because you don't like our current president or legal system doesn't mean we are corrupt. Everyone always hates on every president because they are either democrat or republican. WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK. Our country isn't perfect and WILL NEVER BE. Just like every other country.

Yes, we are labeled horribly by other countries but who gives a fuck. I get to write what I want and say what I want. I get to profess what I believe in, I have the right to carry my own weapon, I am protected against unlawful searches, I have the right to due-process, I have the right to be defended fairly in court and be provided an attorney at no cost, I the right to vote for my countries leader, the list goes on.

But most importantly, I have the right to be who I am and I have the right to be FREE.

What more could one ask for?

As much as I am for supporting people who are going through a hard time, there are way too many people in the United States who are blatantly lazy and unwilling to do anything for themselves. There are so many scholarships available with the only prerequisite being a low income. That's an inefficient way of filling universities. If an individual is actually intelligent and driven and can't afford school, absolutely fund it, but there are way too many people at my university with complete grants who have no business whatsoever being in college. Meanwhile, I'll be graduating shortly with high honors and I've struggled to pay my way through college for as long as I've been enrolled, without a single dime of help.

Programs designed to help people should work and they absolutely need to be in place, but there are so many people who abuse the system and ruin it for everyone else. I'd rather see more money invested into the wellbeing of children. There are so many problems with the programs that impact the children in this country.

Our American government has withdrawn from our needs. They decided to feed the fuel of our lower-class citizens and like to give them all the high end benefits that they do not deserve.
All of the rich billionaires don't even get taxed nearly as much as the middle or lower classes receive.
I mean, we are getting so bad here in America that we are just completely getting rid of the middle-class, and it will just soon be lower-class and upper-class.
I don't even want to live here. But in all honesty, the grass is not greener on the other side. Everywhere in the world is just a mess.
Money runs society, and money is based on faith. Money is one of the most useless things on our planet. It ruins everything.

I do know what i am saying, i research both sides more than you could possibly imagine, i don't go on one swayed views, i am proud of myself i am not proud of who backs my country, and my way of life and yours if you are American is believe it or not made worse if you arent the 1% in this country. I took 3 years of government (related classes) in high school and 2 years of Debate trust me i know what i talk about.

The point is Doug, thats not what OUR country is founded on our constitution is one of the few who are NOT supposed to run on money thats why i hate it and i speak out against it, i dont expect any immediate progress to be made overnight but the more you speak out the more people hear and wake up and realize whats going on (hopefully) some sort of action will, run through peoples minds and say "Hey, im tired of this bull, we need to unite and stand up and do something."
